The Loooong project

Do you have a project that you have been working on forever? I love cross stitch. I like to do tedious cross stitch but my time is limited so sometimes I put it down for a looong time before I will pick it up again. I have been working on this forever. No outlining details are here so it might be hard to see. It's Jesus with a child. There are 6 shades of brown just in the hair! It might take me 32 years to finish it but that's ok with me.
Well, I have no idea why this picture is turned but here is what it will look like one day when it is done. I am thinking of working a little on it this week. Maybe if I still have a blog 32 years from now you can see what it looks like finished! Have a great day!

As much as I love to craft, I don't have patience to do projects that can't be finished in one sitting. My mother is gifted at quilting, sewing and oil painting. One project may take many months or weeks to finish. I didn't inherit her patience. I'm so impressed with your needlework.

Have a blessed Thursday!

Amy, my MIL did the Lord's Supper and it is gorgeous. Yes you will need forever to finish but it will be gorgeous. Smiles...Renee

The white chair covers....with the kids, I just take them off before the eat on them. I usually only pull them out for special occasions. BUT I finally bought some scotch guard I am going to give it a try!
